Sonny Acres Farm

Sonny Acres Farm is located in the West Chicago area of Chicago. About 45 minutes outside of the city, this family farm has been around since 1883. With tons of attractions, you’ll always have something to do at Sonny Acres. Some of the attractions feature a hayride, pumpkin patch, petting zoo, train ride, fun slide, and many more! Goebbert’s Pumpkin Farm and Garden Center

Next on the list is Goebbert’s Pumpkin Farm and Garden Center. This well-known farm has two locations; South Barrington and Hampshire. The South Barrington Goebbert’s has a garden center while the Hampshire located has an apple orchard for apple picking. They both have loads of fall attractions including a pumpkin patch, hayrides, pig races, a petting zoo, and a pumpkin-eating dinosaur!

Bengston’s Pumpkin Farm

Located in Homer Glen about 30 miles outside of Chicago, Bengston’s is known for their apple cider donuts and tractor show! This giant farm is the perfect place to spend a fall day with lots to do for everyone. Bengston’s has over 20 different attractions such as hayrides, pony rides, pig races, a haunted barn, and a pumpkin chucker that sends pumpkins flying! This pumpkin farm is great for families and small children.

Richardson’s Adventure Farm

Richardson’s Adventure Farm is a little bit of a trek from Chicago, but well worth the drive. Located in Spring Grove, about 1.5 hours from downtown Chicago, this adventure farm has the world’s largest corn maze! Other attractions feature zip lining, an observation tower, giant slides, and orbiting - where you can ride inside a giant ball! Richardson’s is great for all ages, especially teenagers and adults considering the action-packed attractions.
