This restaurant is absolutely fantastic. From the professional service, to the flavorful spices, it was an incredible experience. We were greeted with friendly smiles from the hostesses, and seated immediately to our dim-lit booth. With a view of the bar, we couldn’t help but order cocktails and a bottle of wine. Equipped with a knowledgeable sommelier, RPM knew exactly which wines to recommend per our preferences. The wine selections were overwhelmingly good, as we wanted to try all of them! We tried a 2016 bottle of Bernard Defaix, poured over and over by the staff with each sip gone. The service is top-notch and well respected. We paired it nicely with the burrato, heirloom tomato caprese, and sweet corn agnolotti. The freshness of the tomatoes and the use of herbs and spices were well thought-out. The presentation and colors of ingredients were beautiful, and we couldn’t help but take photos of every dish. We left satisfied yet not overly stuffed like most Italian restaurants make you feel, and it was a very content feeling. RPM Italian is a go-to if you want an elevated, modern Italian dining experience in a vibrant neighborhood.
