Terrace 16 is located on the 16th Floor of the Trump International Hotel & Tower in Chicago. This fantastic restaurant in the sky offers some of the most iconic views of Chicago. From every angle of the restaurant, you will see world-renowned architecture with views of Lake Michigan and the Chicago River. Every Wednesday and Saturday evening from Memorial Day to Labor Day, you can catch a clear shot of the fireworks at Navy Pier at Terrace 16 rooftop.

Terrace 16 is not only known for their prime location and mesmerizing views, but also their high-end dishes. The Grilled Stone Fruit & Cream Salad consists of citrus-glazed stone fruit, marcona almonds, grilled papadum, baby arugula, and spiced mascarpone. This dish is light, flavorful, and curated with expertise. An excellent addition to this colorful salad would be the Organic Chicken. No ordinary chicken, this high quality dish features arugula lemon mornay, whole fried maitake mushroom, baby leeks, and pomme purée. If you’re craving something sweet, you might be surprised that Terrace 16 has S’mores on the menu! Experience your own S’mores experience that is perfect for the entire table.

Not only was the food exquisite, but the service was as well. The views were unrivaled. From every angle, we were in awe. It’s very picturesque, especially because you see straight down the Chicago River where it meets the lake - an angle that not many buildings get to see an unobstructed shot of. Their menu had a wide variety, perfect for all diets - including lots of yummy sides like the Parmesan Wedge Fries or Veal Glazed Maitake Mushrooms. The Filet Mignon was cooked to perfection, and the avocado gem salad had the freshest gem lettuce you could get your tastebuds on. The Cheese and Charcuterie Board was the perfect appetizer for the table to snack on. The cheese paired excellent with their extensive wine list. The star of the show was the Red Dragon Roll which had bluefin tuna, fried shallot, spicy mayo, & sweet chili. Their cocktails were very generous, and tasted so good (almost too good)! Our favorites were the Violet Haze and the 5-Star Espresso Martini. The entire lineup of food and drinks consisted of only the highest quality ingredients. Aside from the menu items, the service was some of the best we’ve experienced. With multiple staff waiting on you, we felt very well taken care of. For dinner, this restaurant is perfect for a date night, business meal, or celebration. Terrace 16 also offers brunch with bottomless mimosas for only $23 with an entree purchase.
