The casino was easily one of the highlights of our stay. With more than 70,000 square feet of gaming space, the energy inside feels nonstop in the best way possible. The property features over 1,400 state-of-the-art slot machines, 56 table games, a poker room, and an onsite sportsbook, making it a true gaming destination for every type of player. We spent most of our time at the craps table, and the atmosphere was so much fun! Lively, social, and exciting without feeling overwhelming. Whether you’re into slots, blackjack, poker, or sports betting, the casino floor has something happening at every moment.

The spa experience completely balanced out the excitement of the casino. Spa at Wind Creek Chicago Southland spans more than 11,000 square feet and overlooks the Chicago skyline, creating a peaceful retreat that instantly feels calming the moment you walk in. We booked a 50-minute couples massage and absolutely loved it. The spa also offers facials, nail services, and incredible wellness amenities including a thermal suite, sauna, steam room, mud room, jacuzzi, and experiential showers. One of my favorite details was the serene lounge spaces with the swinging chairs, it felt like the perfect place to completely disconnect and recharge for a few hours.

The hotel itself feels modern, upscale, and thoughtfully designed from top to bottom. Wind Creek Chicago Southland Casino & Hotel features 255 guest rooms and 43 suites, all designed with a clean luxury aesthetic that feels both stylish and comfortable. Beyond the rooms, the property also includes an indoor pool, fitness center, flexible event spaces, restaurants, bars, and direct access to the casino and spa, making it incredibly easy to spend an entire weekend without ever needing to leave the resort.

The food options were another standout during our stay. We grabbed incredible noodles at Ivory Noodle Bar, explored all the variety inside Food Bazaar, and had drinks and dinner at ALTO, where Executive Chef Dirk Flanigan brings an elevated and modern dining experience to the property. Food Bazaar is especially worth visiting because it features six different restaurant concepts operated by the Fabio Viviani Hospitality Group, including Abuela Cocina, Bottega, Burgers’n Wiches, Salt and Sea, Southern District, and Sugar Lips. Honestly, there’s something for every craving. Mornings started with coffee runs to Starbucks and quick stops at The Spot, which was perfect for grabbing snacks and casual bites throughout the day. The variety of dining options really makes the property feel like a full-scale resort destination.
